Lora had what we call a partially claimed profile. The profile has an email associated, but the user never set a password. You retain some management rights until the user sets a password. Changing status is one of those rights that you lose once a profile is partially claimed.

Is there any geni curators here?

The issue is already solved by customer service, - curators cannot so anything in such a case anyhow, except telling to use the report/deceased option on the profile to ask customer service to close the account. Making the profile public is however a manager/family decision.

Can some curator please update birth date of the two? I have tried, but the owner seem to have locked the profiles, and does not respond to emails.

That profile is not locked, - it is a public profile, but in a separate tree, i.e. not available for edit and merge by Pro users unless they collaborate with the manager. Only 10 profiles and the manager has not logged in since the profiles was created. Just ignore it and look another way.
