Priscilla was a daughter of Jesse Harrell, I, and his wife, Fereby. Jesse Harrell, I, was a son of John Harrell and his wife, Grace Hardy.
Jesse Harrell and his wife, Rachel Kittrell, moved to Washington County, Georgia about 1798 or 1800. Jesse and his family moved to Stewart County, Georgia before the 1840 census was taken. Jesse Harrell's wife died in Stewart Co., GA between 1840 and 1845 and Jesse died in Stewart County on July 22, 1848. The children of Jesse Harrell and his wife, Rachel Kittrell, included Solomon J. Harrell [1795/1796 NC-1858 Americus, Sumter Co., GA; md. 1st (1817), Nancy Turner, and 2nd (1847), Mrs. Frances B. Murphy Blakey], Susannah Harrell (about 1800/1801 NC-bet. 1857-1859 Butler Co., AL; md. Blount Trotman), John Harrell (about 1802-bet. 1845-1847; md. Narcissa ______), David Harrell (about 1806 GA-1880 Thomasville, Thomas Co., GA; md. possibly 1st, Eliza Turner and 2nd, Dorothy/Dorothea "Dolly" Bryan Martin; According to HISTORY OF STEWART COUNTY, GEORGIA, Vol. II, David "built a beautiful colonial home a few miles south of Lumpkin on the Cuthbert road, which still stands, now owned by Red Moye..."; David moved to Thomasville in 1857 and became the owner of what is today known as "The David Harrell House," a beautiful columned mansion.), Jesse P. Harrell (b. about 1810; md. Temperance P. Massey), Henry T. Harrell (died 1845; md. Mary Elizabeth Ann McMichael) and (Unknown Daughter) Harrell (died between 1834-1840; md. James K. Turner. This daughter was the mother of Mary Ann Eliza Turner, b. 1834 GA, d. 1911 AL, who md. 1st, Jeremiah Shanks and 2nd, James B. Davis.) Jesse Harrell's Stewart Co., GA Will was made on August 21, 1845 and recorded on Sept. 7, 1848. Stewart Co. GA Minutes 1850-1873, Vol. B-C (at FamilySearch) records, for 1857, some interesting information concerning the Will of Jesse Harrell and mentions several of his descendants and relatives.
