I have been trying to piece together the Dribben descendents who probably came from no more than a dozen or less origonal imigrants. At the time of writing only my maternal grandmother Dora Berg/Dribben and her two brothers Simon and Samuel have been posatively identified and I ave more than 30 early 1900 Dribbens who I cannot place within or outside this family with any certainty. I also hold details of a latge Kretingan family dating back to the 1700's but cannout link them to any Dribbens of modern times i.e.early 1800s.
