Bedankt voor de informatie

According to the Russian database John Glenn is the first American to travel in space.
Seems they have a different opinion on the space flight from Alan Shepard and Gus Grissom.

Other point of view

But Jeroen what is my problem who was the second in official documents.
When we say Jonh Glenn was the first American a flight around the earth then everything becomes different.
What i understand is that the Americans say when you are above 100 km from earth you are in space.
What is correct to say Glenn first or Shepard.

I say let the facts speak and give the dates and the height. And clearly that there is a discussion about border of space and when you are in space.

But it not an easy discussion.

What I wanted to say it that the russians and the americans have an other agenda.
