@Carol Van Sickle am not sure where the name Fellows came from but I have old family notes that have her last name as MAR????. Separately, another researcher and myself discovered that the Marlette/Marlat/Merlot family were Huguenots in New York same time as the Dragoo family and both went to New Jersey. Later they were in Frederick County, MD, Springhill Twp, Pa. Wherever the Dragoo family resided, they were also in the same proximity as the Marlett family. The Marlett family of Springhill Twp. Fayette County, PA were headed to Ohio and were overcome and captured by Indians. This was about the same time as Frederick and Peter Dragoo, sons of Peter and Margaret McCafferty were taken captive sometime after 1779. I noticed this Fellows family went to Connecticut and none of the Dragoo's went to Connecticut so another reason I do not believe this Fellows family has any connection to my Dragoo Ancestors.
