So obviously Samuel Powell son of John Powell and Jane Docwra can't be the same Samuel Powell who was born c. 1615 and went and settled in Northampton County, VA!

We have a stray bit of tree out there that a duplicate Samuel Powell of Northampton County has erroneously gotten attached to. He's supposed to be Samuel Powell of Germany and Wales.

He should be born 1624 in Germany, married someone named Elizabeth, not Ann, and had a son Samuel who married Elizabeth Folliott, and they all lived in Radnorshire, Wales. http://thepeerage.com/p55264.htm#i552639
