Is there proof that Jacob Hales of Yalding is son of Thomas Hales of Bekesbourne?

Descendants may want to contact Roy L. Hales, an English researcher from this line who has done YDNA testing as well as considerable conventional research on this line. His YDNA is I1--don't know if that matches one of the Hales DNA groups, or if he is one of the ungrouped kits.
