I'm descendant of Kahana-Heller family and we have a geneology tree show that @Yechiel Michel Kahana Heller was son of Rabbi Yakov Yosef Kahana and the father of @Rabbi Judah Kahana-Heller, HaCohen and @Yakov Yosef Kahana Hacohen (Katz) was the son of @Rabbi Israel Jechiel Katz Rapoport (Cohen Rapa) .

Thanks for the post. I wonder where the blogspot author heard that the last link on this chain, Rabbi Israel Jechiel Katz was also a Rapoport (Cohen Rapa)? I have not seen this anywhere else. I can see that his name was Israel Jechiel Katz from the Muneles, Ancient Cemetery of Prague, #212, but do not know where is the Rapoport information is derived from?

There does happen to be a Israel Jehiel Katz Rapoport who could be the person Rabbi Israel Jechiel HaCohen Rapoport but is there evidence beyond the declaration in the blogpost?
