I am having a problem the way Geni reflects my relationship connections.
My Great Great Grandfather Frederick Adolf Lesch and my Great Grandfather John Lesch are indicated on matches as my step mother’s relatives.!!! But they are my direct ancestors,
My Father Reg Lesch’s first wife Lilian Thelma Lesch was his cousin, their respective father’s were brothers William Roodt Lesch ( my Grandfather and Lilian’s Uncle ) and John Gabriel Lesch ( my great uncle- Lilian’s Dad ) These brothers shared the same father John Lesch and the same Grandfather Frederick Adolf Lesch who are my Great grandparents .
Lilian would have been related to me anyway even if she wasn’t my Dads first wife and step mother ( she died before I was born ) my Dad
Reg Lesch remarried and I am the offspring of that marriage. Is there anyway to fix this?
