If you choose, you .can make your own Family Group smaller - Account Settings (from the drop-down window you get if you click on your name, upper right of scree)
Then choose Family Group -

If no change is made - it is 4th cousins and closer and their current partners, ancestors back to 3rd great-grandparents and also "inlaws out to 1st cousins" . [have never quite understood that one]
