Thought i'd start a project that had to do with those of us matching in the We're Related App - who also use Geni as a tool to double check tree lines etc - as well as through Ancestry (checking the tree on both etc to make sure it's correct.) . Sadly not all of us are professionals, but it'd be awesome to see who's on Geni who uses this app.

In future i'd like to see if it's OK to add profiles that are regularly found in the app (the famous kind) to this group.

In the app = "We're Related" - what i saw (i other people cell phones) - i like How its Displaying the Lineage - Common Ancestor at the Top - and 2 down lines.
I wish - Geni would offer such Display too...

I did not see - how to do use Geni vs Ancestry?
My main tree is at Geni and MyHeritage.....

AH.
Ok :) now i see where you're coming from.
Language barrier.
If you go to Relative Finder by BYU which is supported by FamilySearch, that has a common way like ancestry's app - to show how you're related.

Geni gets a tad confusing, ilike it's accuracy in how things wokr BUT - alas, ALL forms of websites are better than one or none :)
