One of my surnames is on it (Woolard - mine is a 1624 arriver to Virginia, so presumably a much earlier Woolard)

Erica Howton excuse me for delay and answer to you now. In meantime, if you are read what I put in description of project page, yes it is related (but non-official) to the Lost Colony project page, but with accent of trace of croatians in new World and other peoples. So this question is a still open, how I understand about what was happened, and about of reason why they were disapereaded (?) and I created this project page. Also what a name CROATOAN means, and from which place, language a this word came for name of this people (tribe), what this word exactly mean. In meantim I wokring collect on one place all availbel documentations, and available sources from internet online and offline. But how I see some scienetists and archelogists (example from USA) don't agree and don't believe that this have a connection with Croatians. Lots of theories, but theories is not a proofs. So this is a famous interesting historical puzzle what is a still open today with more and lots of questions and mysteryous, and was a one part of discovered of New World (today America) in history. Hope you understand what is a point of this project page: For finding a proofs and etc...what is related to this. Also and for help about find a correct DNAs in the history and today possible of live descendants.

The Cheraws are thought to have been descendants of a tribe of extinct
native Americans called Croatan, and the Lost Colony Project is analyzing DNA.
