I've been searching for information on my maternal 2nd great grandfather Omer Wilbur Anderson and have only been able to locate his obituary and headstone. No father or siblings come up. A possible mother is Martha Jane Pitsnogle (but nothing solid) who married a Joseph Miller.
I did find a marriage license for an Omer Brubaker who married a woman with the same name as my 2nd great grandmother, Mary Ellen Ridenour, in Washington County, Maryland. If this is my 2nd great grandparents I don't know why the last name would be listed as Brubaker and not Anderson but all their children and them went by Anderson.
Omer's headstone states that his name was Omer Anderson. His date of birth was Sept. 15, 1865 (I believe in West Virginia) and passed on Jan. 30, 1937 in the Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Maryland.
Omer's son Milford George Anderson Sr. was my great grandfather. His son, Milford George "Jim" Anderson Jr., was my grandfather. My mother was Nancy Jean Anderson.
