Dear readers,
It is unclear who the parents of Rosamunde of Flanders are they are married to Barwout II van Egmont.
Both Robert I 'de Vries' from Flanders and his son Robert II are eligible for her father.
The birth year of Rosamunda is unclear, both 1067 and 1085 are mentioned.
It seems certain that Rosamunde died and was buried in 1114 in Egmond aan de Hoef in the Netherlands.
