I have just received the results from FTNDA showing that my granddfather´s Y-chromosome Haplogroup is R-BY593.
I found this group by a google-serach for "BY593". Is this group active? Do all followers belong to this haplogroup? Can you share more information about paternal surnames associated with this haplogroup? Where can I find more information about this big "family" (other than Google, of course)? Anyone has any relatives with a relationship to Hungary (or Austria-Hungary) here?
