In 1912 my paternal grandfather Teudor Bazant came to Detroit, Michigan, USA from Russia Poland and soon after his wife Jozefa followed with their daughter Marianna and son Jozef. Teudor's sister Zofia (Bazant) Kaczorowska preceded them to Detroit and resided in Hamtramck Village, Detroit, Michigan. Family verbal history claims that Teudor & Zofia's father was Karl Bazant. I am looking for advice on how to obtain documentation from their home village: Turek, and how to learn of the rest of their brothers and sisters please?
