Dvorah Raisa Kessel (Ezrachovich) - Ezrachovich

This info came from a letter to me dated 13 Aug 1985 from Harold Padow, who published a newsletter (called "Your Koopischick's Nooze") for his relatives who were part of the Ezrachovich family from Kupiskis, Lithuania (Kupishok in Yiddish). He in turn got the information from Rose Bearman, daughter of Shmuel Kessel, We have no solid proof that this last name is correct, but the name Ezrachovich would explain a few things. First, Rose knew that here mother's maiden name (i.e. Shmuel's wife) was also Ezrachovitch, and Rose knew that her mother and father were related. Second, the connection to the Ezrachovich family in Kupiskis could explain why Tuviah and Mendel Kessel moved 133 km away to Kupiskis to marry two sisters, Chava and Nesse Vin.

If we ever find some source for Tevel (Tuvie) Ezrachovich in proper period from Kupishkis we can call it solved :-)
