Can't Merge

Hey everybody, I'm trying to merge a few profiles (all in my family). Whenever I click "merge this profile", and put the number is (I've tried just the number and the whole profile link before reading the tutorial), nothing pops up in the drop-down/for me to select and it says the profile can't be found. Please help. I'd love to be able to merge these profiles - I am a manager of the profiles I am trying to merge.

Valerie do you get the "search more" notice? If not adding a space after the number usually initiates it. If you send me the links I will see if there is a problem

I have never been able to get the number to work in the merge

I enter the name and click search.
Sometimes I find it helps if I have recently opened both profiles particularly if it is a common name,

On a desktop you should be able to paste the link in a search box for a profile and just add a space then press search.
