While researching the identity of my ancestor Anne Lee b.1624 who married Robert Lee of Southwell I found a number of connection between her descendants and John Leigh of Farmington. His g grandson Elijah Parker whose family was of Great Burstead near Colchester, Essex was a founding member of the 1st church in Decatur N.Y. along with Sarah Lee Maple g granddaughter of Robert and Anne Lee. Elijah's g grandfather was Jedediah Strong likely brother of Sarah who married Joseph Bernard son of Hannah Marvin 1st cousin of Robert Marvin whose daughter Mary was the daughter in-law of Anne Lee. Robert Marvin mother was Susan Gore of Great Burstead likely cousin of William Gore who married Joan sister of Hugh Lee and Mary Bernard (also of Great Burstead) great aunt of Joseph Bernard. Hugh and Joan were the children of Robert Lee Mayor of London. John Leigh's granddaughter Abigail Lee married William Cushman whose mother was Elizabeth Coombs whose 1st cousin was Richard Coombs father in-lay of Sarah Maple (by her 1st husband Solomon Coombs). Abigail Lee's daughter Sarah Cushman married Hezekiah Allen g grandson of Marie Marvin aunt of Joseph Bernard and 1st cousin of Robert Marvin. I have not found the names of any children for Hugh Lee and Mary Bernard but there are other more distant family connections which suggest They were the grandparents of Anne Lee and John Leigh who may have been half siblings or 1st cousins.
