There are several things online not totally accurate. Please do diligence with your own research before copying this. I'll hope the profile contributor will just give this entire set of entries the once over please. There is an Ancestry tree also off in accuracy of these same folks. To correct at least ONE thing let me offer this:There was a 1st wife to Esak,..Not just Catherine Lagrange - but Margrit.Van Nuys.(spellings differ on sources) Margrit Van Nuys is the mother to one of the children, the oldest, Hannah born in 1780. It appears her mother died within the year she was born. If anyone has sources on this please chime in. Hannah Rynearson Coller, she is my ancestor. It is correct that Hannah married John Coller, but it is incorrect that she also had a husband named Jacob Van Nuys. I am still guessing/looking at this but it might be her father....not a husband. Hannah having been born from Margrit Van Nuys & Eysak Rynearson: John and Hannah named one son, middle name - her father's surname Van Nuys...*my x3 grand father James Van NESS Coller..likely the pronunciation from Dutch/anglicized spelling likely also. She names her first Son, Isaac Rynearson Coller. So her maiden surname and her father's surname were utilized in middle names of her sons. Catherine Lagrange - to my knowledge was not her mother but mother to the other children.
