Of all of the things I've seen, the below appears to be well vetted research, but I haven't dug into and it appears to still lacked the needed source documentation.

The link doesn’t help, it doesn’t define groups or haplogroups. And it’s Y DNA, how is that relevant to “ Penelope Bolling Clark”?

I don’t think it’s the “the Bolling Family Association with DNA” Private User mentioned, nor to the Clark family.

Pat should merge her profiles...

I hate when folks leave Geni and come back with a new profile...

I know she has been working on this for some time-- her purported Matoaka line... It is difficult to prove some lines so they stay disconnected ... as they SHOULD but we can still revisit from time to time

And yet the Johnson / Johnston documentation claims she was a Johnson. ( The family who lived next door to Christopher Clark and who were part of the Johnstons' who started the Virginia colony and Ulster colony.)
The Bolling family is super well documented. It would be interesting to see if reliable sources show a Penelope Bolling being born at the correct time period. Plus all of us direct descendants would have Bolling DNA cousins. I know some do, but not all of us.

Alexander Clark it's the only way they can sort the white and red Bollings and defend against the Blue Bollings.

Blue Bollings are those who have appeared "from out of blue" to be able to proclaim Pocahontas as their grandmother.

From the finding aid we don’t actually know which Penelope Bolling Clark Mr. Hartline meant, do we?

It’s impossible chronologically for Penelope Clark to have been a daughter of Colonel Robert Bolling, II & Ann Stith, she’s a contemporary (although I don’t know where the birth data on Geni comes from).

Going up a generation, there’s only one known child of Jane Bolling so there’s not a Pocahontas descent here, that I can see.

Geographically it’s not much of a fit either.

Her mt DNA haplogroup is DNA Markers: H4a1, which is a group associated with England & Ireland. So there’s no native origins on her mothers side.

There’s no name affiliation (Penelope as a frequently appearing name in the Bolling family).

There are several origin discussions attached to Penelope profile for review.

Two children may be daughters of John Bolling and Mary Kennon but they were not named in his will. If they are his children, the mystery is why they were NOT named in the will. If they are not his children, then what are their connections to Bolling? These two children are not attached to this profile, and have disclaimers on their profiles.

Penelope Bolling (c. 1700-1776), married Captain Christopher Clark (his ancestry is unproven), and had a son Bolling Clark, two grandsons Bolling Clark, a grandson Bolling Clark Anthony, and several other descendants named "Bolling," "John Bolling," or, indeed, "Rolfe Bolling."
