John Stanley, of "the Planter"
Why is he called of the Planter when he died at sea, Is it the name of the ship? added links
Yes there are emigrants in every line line i traced
Apparently he is thought to have died on The Planter
From profile notes
“Mrs. Bacon does not give the name of the vessel in which they came. Winthrop's Journal dated May 14, 1634 says, "The week the court was [May 14-16] there came in six ships, with store of passengers and cattle". Evidently, the Stanleys came in one of these ships after a short, prosperous voyage. Other sources say they came over on "The Planter" - one of six ships.”
i find this person most mystifying he is my 10th greatgrandfather he was supposed to have died at sea on he way to America yet his descendents are living in England including me, also you have his ancesters wrong according to my findings although his wife is the same here and on my tree i do wonder if there were two John Stanley's that have been mixed up. i do know that some Stanley;s did live in the north of England i got them mixed up when i started but a professional geanealogist sorted them out for me, i9ts all so strange
