Hello, I just wanted to let you know of the error for SAMUEL EARLE, V (wife TABITHA WILLIAMS) you have shown as the son of SAMUEL EARLE, IV & wife ? PERKINS with SAMUEL EARLE, IV son of (MAJOR) SAMUEL EARLE, III & ANNA SORRELL.
I am the 4th Great Granddaughter of SAMUEL EARLE who married TABITHA WILLIAMS but he was not SAMUEL EARLE, V. He was actually the 2nd son of (MAJOR) SAMUEL EARLE, III to be named SAMUEL EARLE, IV from his 2nd marriage to ELIZABETH HOL(D)BROOK.
The first son to be named SAMUEL EARLE, IV, (who married Miss ? PERKINS,) was born 1727 & died in 1752 & he was the son of (MAJOR) SAMUEL EARLE, III & 1st wife ANNA SORRELL who died in 1748.
After the death of ANNA SORRELL (the 1st MRS. SAMUEL EARLE, III,) (MAJOR) SAMUEL EARLE, III married much younger 2nd wife ELIZABETH HOL(D)BROOK with whom he had several more children including a 2nd son to be named SAMUEL EARLE, IV, (RS,) born: January 1760 at TOWN RUN ESTATE, FAUQUIER COUNTY, VIRGINIA, died:. 1845 in MOBILE, ALABAMA.
SAMUEL EARLE, IV, (RS,) (2nd son of his father of that name,) married my 4th Great Grandmother TABITHA WILLIAMS, daughter of GEORGE (2nd son of his name) WILLIAMS & CATHERINE "CATY" TAYLOR.
My 3rd Great Grandmother KITTY EARLE, born: 1795, married my 3rd Great Grandfather BA(I)LEY JENNINGS in 1821 in CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KENTUCKY after their families moved there from VIRGINIA helping settle CHRISTIAN & CALDWELL COUNTIES.
KITTY EARLE & BA(I)LEY JENNINGS were the parents of my 2nd Great Grandmother SARAH "SALLY" JENNINGS, born: 1821 in COVINGTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, died:. 1870 in SMITH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. SARAH "SALLY" JENNINGS married JEREMIAH "JERRY" (OLD CHERAW) PARKER, born: 1795 possibly in MARYLAND, died: 1870 in SMITH COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.
SARAH & JERRY PARKER were the parents of my Great Grandfather SPENCER B. PARKER, born: 1859 in MISSISSIPPI, died: May 17, 1930 in OAK GROVE, WEST CARROLL PARISH, LOUISIANA, who married as the 2nd husband of my Great Grandmother RACHAEL MORANDA "RANDA" LEWIS (MRS. JOHN WESLEY BRIGHT) & my info says she may have married under the name of RACHEL COLEMAN though not sure why...another husband or possibly an assumed name as some info says her first husband left her and their family.
RACHEL & SPENCER PARKER were the parents of my paternal Grandmother ALLIE ARTIMISSA PARKER, born: 1892 in SIMPSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, died:. OCT 07, 1976 in OAK GROVE, WEST CARROLL PARISH, LOUISIANA, married my Grandfather JAMES MARTIN "JIM" MYRICK, born: 1892 in MAGEE, SIMPSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, died: SEPT 10, 1944 in OAK GROVE, WEST CARROLL PARISH, LOUISIANA.
