I've just completed addition of ancestors between existing paternal Cabaniss ancestor records beginning with birth in 1665 down to my grandfather Cabaniss born in 1873. I had previously added my family records (self, spouse, children, and the same grandfather). The two grandfather records automatically linked/matched, but through 18 relatives linking my paternal grandfather as my 10th cousin through my mother's family.
Are there instructions about this?
