James Robert White - Sir General George White

I believe that I’m related to Sir General George Stuart White, through my second great Grandmother, Margaret White born 1835, who married Henry Curran, as a number of ancestors where named after his son James, but unfortunately I can’t find the connection! Only unless Margaret Whites father who married a Vernon? Is the same John White as George White’s father, & he married twice
