Big job # 1, volunteers needed

I was asked to explain the "Big job" title relating to Hans Georg Haag, Sr.. If you open the profile page on DAR, you will see one wife & 3 kids, so you might say, where is the big project? There is a lot more here than meets the eye. If you click on the blue numbers under heading National Number you will see how many Patriot applications were approved by a single lady. If you click on the D on the same line, you can see the lineage (the first 3 generations are blank to protect privacy. If the Daughters are deceased, the 3 generations are made public. Last night I built the tree including all approved applications for the first Daughter listed.
826440 To be precise I can't see the first 3 generations, so I built the part descended from John G Haag, SR. In order to connect all of these Patriots to this Daughter I would have to do some research on Ancestry.com or whatever. I don't generally do that, but instead respect their privacy. The cool part is that many of these Patriots have other proven children and you can just keep adding & building. That's not even mentioning merges that would be included in the job.

There is more to the story. The way I found this Patriot in the database was to do a search only with an H for the surname and GR (Germany) for the State of Birth. This fellow was the first one to come up. Some of the birth dates of the Patriots go back to before 1690, so don't assume they will all be born in time to be a young fighter in 1776. The maximum number of hits that will be returned in a search is 300. So I think it is safe to say that there are over 300 Patriots of the American Revolution whose surname begins with the letter H and was born in Germany.

I just did the same search with H & IR for Ireland and got 254 hits.
