Sharyn, I agree that the artists one would be a good portal pointing to the different art forms.

FYI - I'm not likely to add many to them as I don't often work in that area - just came across this one who happened to marry into my family.

I am not sure how we move forward, lots of profiles on it, maybe the name changed and another for portal. I havnt had a good look either as I am not as interested in stars as many are.

I often set the projects up just to have them in case, and for others, but do not focus on one area as you have done. Its just so nice now to add a profile and know I have a few projects they can be added to immediately.

OK, let me know what I can do to help. I just dont know how to change people easily from one page to another. Shame there is no "merge" function for projects.

Shaz, It's actually quite easy for curators as we can add any public profile to any project. Also we can join any project without having to ask to be added by another member.

I think that projects have been merged occasionally but that is something that involves Geni's engineering team working in the background to make the magic happen.

My grandfather was a film actor in the 1960's, and my dad was a stage actor and a musician around the same time. Neither of them I would call famous. Is there somewhere I can add them?

Simon, feel free to add them to the projects linked to this discussion, "famous" isn't a requisite.
