John (Basse) Bass, Sr. - No middle name

I locked the Name field so it can’t come back. And am now merging in a duplicate tree.

John Bass had a son named William, who had a son named John Ephraim Bass, whose son was Edward Bass, who then had a son named Thomas James Bass. It is a mixup whether his mother was a Goin or if his mother was a Lovewell. Does anyone know?

I've never seen a primary source showing a middle name for John Bass 1673-1722. If anyone can produce a primary source, I'd love to see it.

John Bass married 1) Love Harris, 2) Mary ___, who married a Mr. Staples after John Bass's death.

Sorry to say I've never seen proof of his son Edward's wife.

I've never seen anything about a son Thomas or a son James for Edward. He's supposed to have had sons Ephraim, Arthur, Wright, Jeremiah. We've never located a will for Edward, alas. Jeremiah and Wright were beneficiaries of their uncle Moses's will.

I wish I could tell you James Bass's parents (James Bass who married Sarah/Salle Malone). If you have YDNA from one of his male line descendants, that would help sort out which line he is from.
