I am trying to find any information on @Samuel Karnow born in Russia in 1856. He married Pauline Salinger and died in 1897 in New York of unknown reasons. He also had a son, Benjamin Karnow, born in 1893 in New York. I cannot find any death information on him, but I believe it was after 1949.

I'm not sure where to even start. I believe his parents were Meyer and Nora and he was born in about 1856 somewhere in Russia. I do not know where in Russia, but he immigrated to the United States before 1881. He made and sold cigars in the United States, so maybe that's what his father did?
