Who is Jesse Thomas DODSON's mother

Erica, There is a note on Jesse Dodson, of North Farnham Parish that may assist with the issues

I followed the curator notes & disconnected parents where they read “parents unknown.”

So for future reference.

There are three unrelated Dodson families arriving in early Virginia.

The earliest was John Dods, of the Jamestown Colony

I don’t know if his Ancestry shown is correct or not. His wife was Jane Dods. Some speculated she was the daughter of William Dier but the ages don’t work out. His wife was not Jane “White Feather” Dodd, (Fictional)

John & Jane had no known surviving children.

The next to arrive was Jesse Dodson, of North Farnham Parish. His wife was Judith Dodson and the parents on Geni were disproved, so her origins are unknown also. They had lots of kids, but they were NOT the parents of Charles Dodson, of Old Rappahannock County

Charles and his wife Ann Dodson are the progenitors of most Dodson’s.

More than an Australian ever wanted to know. :)
