My name is Stuart Irvine. Dorothy Jane Larson Bryson is credited with publishing the journal/diariy of Jacob Peart (1801-1874), who is the great grandfather of my "uncle," Wendell Cannon Irvine. (Wendell was adopted by Alonzo Blair Irvine and Rosannah Cannon Irvine, sometime after his biological mother, Vilate Peart, died in 1909.) I am curious to know why Dorothy was interested in Jacob Peart. I also would like to attain a copy of the journal/diary that she published. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give me.
