My mother has told us that she had cousin, Bessie Berla/ Burle? who lived in New York 1940's.
I tried looking her up on Ellis Island records, but I did not find her.
Recently, I found a picture of my great grandmother's nephew and with him is a group of people.
The people are identified as Chaya Surie Berla?Burla and her husband.
The picture was taken in Israel in the 1920-1930's, possibly. With them was the nephew whose name is Wolf Hersh or Zev Zvi Klein from Rumania.
Do you have any information to help me with?
