I do not know where the Yoho line originated from. My dna origins does not show France nor Switzerland. However, one of my ancient origins does show Stuttgart. MAYBE Yoho ancestors of him started from there. He was my 7th great-grandfather. Does anyone else that is a descendant show Stuttgart?

I do not have DNA for the Yoho family but some of the material I have seen while searching indicates they were from Germany.

Ok, I appreciate it. I actually have 4 different places in Germany.....Stuttgart is the closest one to France and Switzerland. Would like to hear from others that are descendants.

Also, nice to meet you Bob....you are my 5th cousin.

Nice to met you Diana. The best part o genealogy is meeting new family.

Concerning the German roots I had this bit of information in my files.

The German branch of the Joho family takes its origins from Conrad Joho born August 20, 1673 in Bern Switzerland. He moved to Schinznach and then to Mannheim Germany and finally Eberbach Germany where his descendents live today. His line has been directly traced back to the first known Joho, Routschmann Joho born about 1395 probably in Switzerland.
