To whom it may concern, regarding 'Esther Hamilton Blair',

The research on Esther Hamilton Blair within Geni is great. However, being somewhat suspicious in nature and not seeing any sources, I do wonder at the accuracy of these families and their history as shown. After search for 'Esther' under numerous names, her name was not apparent in any sources accessed....her birth nor her marriage to Bryce Blair.

With the details provided on the land ownership in the 'Laird of Auch..', I can see quite a bit of research has been completed but any individual accessing this information, they are left wondering where it was found....perhaps the researchers want to keep their specific sources secret...which is OK but those who access the information need to know even in some general way that this information is credible... I traced the Laird of Auch...and the town of Sorn to ensure it was not made up and it did look good. My questions are...
1. What is the source of the information on the father's name (Alexander, died 1611), and the children names, as well as the wife' name
2. Is Alexander Peden (the 'Prophet') in fact part of this family or an allied family
3. Why is Esther Blair's maiden name 'Hamilton' and not Peden, Pethein, etc (they seem to have a few mispellings or intentional changes),
3. What is the source of Esther and Bryce's children's names and where they were born since some have stated....apparently falsely, that these two parents migrated to Ireland.

I sent these questions to the profile managers but honestly, I have no idea whether the message actually got sent since the website did not seem to register any message that I sent....so, I just decided to give the discussion a try. The frustration level with the Peden, Pethein, Hamilton and Blair lines is getting high so Ive taken to the discussions to see if there are any actually 'sources' for the information provided and not just people writing books and copying what others have written.

Sincerely,
