I have reason to believe that my great uncle, Adrian Buff Malone, and possibly my grandfather, Orice Ned Malone played for the Pawhuska Huskers in 1920. I know from family lore that Buff was a minor league player that fed into St. Louis. I recently discovered that the Pawhuska team fed into the St. Louis Browns. It appears that little information is available about the minor league teams during that time. I have found an A. Malone and an O. Malone on the Pawhuska roster in 1920. A. Malone continued to play until 1925. My great uncle was never married and a bit of a nomad. If you have any information regarding my great Uncle Buff, my grandfather or the Pawhuska team,(how to locate pictures of the players, complete names, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
