Is there any primary source documentation showing the name James Burrell/Burwell? I've only ever seen Burrell or Burwell in census, probate, etc. records, Revolutionary War records, etc.
Find A Grave shows "James Burrell Bass," but there's no photo of a grave marker and no primary sources cited.
For now, anyway, I've restored the original name. (If anyone can find proof that he went by James, it's easy to change it back.)
