Paynes father was John Steptoe 10/abt1846 - 8/10/1924 and mother Sarah Paulina Parker 12/10/1858 - 3/18/1933. on their marriage cert it list parents, Groom.... John Steptoe n Phoebe Steptoe, and the Bride.... Samuel Parker, and Eliz Parker, all from Bedford Count, Va. This is a mixed generation of Steptoe's.
