Dr. Anwar Michael Ibrahim, I would suggest that you first make sure you are not also related to Sancha Alfónsez via one of her siblings; if you are, then she might show up on Geni as your aunt sometimes, depending on what lineage lines you've been exploring in recent weeks. Geni is far from perfect and sometimes brings up relationships that aren't the closest ones. This is frustrating and has happened to me numerous times. Apparently when setting up their system Geni's software creators didn't take into account how many of us are descended from nobles who frequently married cousins. I almost always "follow" (click on the blue "Follow" box in the upper right corner of a profile) only my direct ancestors, which aides in seeing why a more distant relationship sometimes comes up. I hover my cursor over their siblings' names on the profile to see if I've followed any of them, which explains why the aunt or uncle relationship came up.

So, after studying and pondering the tree paths and my personal lines to Sancha Alfónsez, Infanta de Castilla y León , I have found the issue I listed in my previous post above.

Conclusion: both, "D. Rodrigo González de Lara, señor de Lara y Liabana" and his brother, "Pedro González de Lara, Conde de Lara" are both my grandfather's on 3 of my grandparents lines. ((((HAA HAA.)))) So two brothers are both my grandfather.

What makes things most interesting is that this makes my mom's dad (my grandpa) and my Dad are cousins!

This makes my Dad both my grandpas son-in-law and cousin. (LOL)
