Linda Snyder, i found this record on Google books that shows he was in a court case in Nov 5, 1967 for larceny, but he was pardoned. Here is a link (page 39).

Although not listed on geni yet, these other grandchildren are on my tree in Ancestry and familysearch and have lead no where. Also, though didn't know about the pardon, did know about his his 2 stints in jail.Thanks for the info. It's like he just magically just appeared one day! LOL!

Linda it seems you have quite a bit of information that is not on the profile on Geni, including census information, the fact that he is one of two people of the same name, and more family members, etc.

Generally it is a good idea first to document on the relevant Geni profiles all you do know, before asking others to look for information for you.

(On my first post I meant 1867) I found a prison record for Joseph Lowry. It is from 1870 and he is a 29 day Jail laborer with 4 other people. Below I will copy and paste it (he is at the bottom).
