@Erica Howton Need to have something corrected on this profile. Many, many people show Martha Ballinger as the mother of Joseph H. Garrison. This is incorrect and has been proven by the Isaac Garrison Association. Joseph's father Isaac was married twice & had children by both wives. Martha Ballinger and Martha Fountain.

Children of Martha Ballinger: Sarah "Sally" m Thomas Pratt ; Isaac Garrison III m Lucy Jones, Mary Bartlett & Martha Fountain (not the same one parents unknown) , John Garrison m Elizabeth Rogers; Mary "Polly" m John Looney, Sr.

Children of Martha Fountain (daughter of Stephan Fountain/Jane Raper) : Joseph m Elizabeth King; David m 2 wives unknown; William m Mary Bloomer; James married Diana Kyle.

It is believed that Isaac (father of Joseph) had 4 more unidentified daughter, not sure by which wife.

Complication matters even more Isaac Garrison III (half brother of Joseph) also married a woman by the name of Martha Fountain - parents unknown.

Since Joseph is my direct ancestor I would like for his profile to be corrected to show Martha Fountain as his mother.

From the Isaac Garrison Family Association - Denzil Garrison, Bartlesville, Ok. Isaac Garrison married twice - Martha Ballinger & Martha Fountain. Children of Martha Ballinger were Sarah (1769) , Isaac (1771) , John (1774) & Mary Polly (1779) . Children of Martha Fountain (1768) were Joseph (1786) , David (1788) , William (1789) & James (1792). It is also believed there were 4 more daughters but no info has been found on them as of yet.
