I was told that Jaby Ella Mayhew would turn over in her grave if she knew she was being referred to as "Jaby"...This was told to me by her grandson, Chris Weaver, son of Ruby Lambert Weaver. He has pictures of Ella but refused to let me have access to any of the information he has from his Mother and Father's death. Why was Ella not living with her Mother, Lula, and her siblings at her Grandfather and Grandmother's home. Was she not allowed to be part of their family. I am thinking maybe she was a mixed child. James R.Mayhew is listed as her Father and Lula on her Mecklingburg delayed birth certificate.Many questions.....
