Has anyone heard of these wars Family was in Maryland? Didn’t see it on the list of Wars. Found this link for them. Not sure if you like to add these wars to list.

Samuel received 30 pounds of tobacco for his participation in this war. This is significant because proves that he was in the colonies and was young and strong enough to fight. He was not yet 30 years old. Six years later, he witnessed the will of Colonel William Chandler and purchased 6 pounds of tobacca from William Smoot.

there a Smoots in Central Virginia today.

Craig,
Yea saw the Native American post on the profile main page for group didn’t know if they want to add about the Indian Wars I found since thought was part of this county History. Samuel Lockett fought in the wars it says. Not sure how many in county at time period may have . It not after they mention the Native American tribes though. Thought be neat history for both sides to have. Then if anyone finds thier ancestors they can check to see if they in that war. Is those Smoots in central Virginia connected to William Smoot here.

In "Adventures of Purse and Person Virginia 1607 - 1624/25 4th addition" has my grandfather John Gaither, son of John Gaither who left Virginia in 1649 or 1650 for Maryland, as a Private in the Nanticoke Indian War in 1678

I think they gave started to put battles massacres and Indian battles in geni Cecile you might want to look see which battle massacre or war he was in there a list of some of your war not added make a project for it or ask one to be made for specific to what ancestor served in.
