A user has contacted me today to disconnect this profile from her current parent Påvel Paldanius in order to disconnect her from the Paldinius family.
While I am the curator of this profile I am not a manager, I can make the requested change but I have no idea if it is the right thing to do.
Managers, or other interested parties, please provide some evidence or a source for this woman ever existing.
Currently the profile of her husband talks about his employment but nothing of his family, there is no useful information in the profiles of their children.
Henricus Petri Lyra passed away in the beginning of 1662 (not in 1664). In tax records his wife is mentioned as Pastoris Sahl: Hr: Henricj Enckia.
http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=12892678
In July 1663 Carin Påålsdotter singed a receipt concerning her late husbands salary.
http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=12892757
This is the only time I have seen her name mentioned.
So the only document that we really have naming Henrich's wife is the receipt signed by "Carin Påålsdotter".
I think we should merge Carin Påhlsdotter, the current mother of Henricus Petri Lyra, into his wife of the same name. It is possible that both women were named Carin Lyra and even possible that both were named Carin Påålsdotter but i don't see any evidence of this.
Further I think we should disconnect Carin Påhlsdotter from the current parent Påvel Paldanius and remove "Paldanius" from her name fields. We can leave notes in her About to explain and of course this discussion will act as a record (which is one reason why i love using Discussions).

Påvel Paldanius is an empty shell of a profile built 11 years ago and never added to, with absolutely no evidence attached.
How can you know he is your mothers 9th grandfather? Unless there is proof why would you? A family tree with just names but no proof is just a list of names, there is no way to know if it is accurate or fantasy.
@Alex Moes
I agree, you can merge these two Carin Påhlsdotters.
As I wrote before Petrus Lyra's wife is unknown. Petrus Lyra is unknown too. There is no information about him e.g. in tax records. Apparently he has lived in Hauho.
District court session in 1665 give us information about brothers Martinus and Jacobus. Martinus was chaplain and Jacobus farmer.

Anja Danska, I am a good researcher and I know Finland has good church books. That is not evidence of anything.
Several users now have asked me via private messages to break this connection to the Paldanius family. Ask your sister for some records for this family to prove the structure shown on Geni, all of us would be happy to keep the connection if it was supported by actual records.

Apaprently Petrus Lyra lived in Hauho, but he was not a priest. His son Jacob was a farmer, Mårten was a priest in Hauho and Kuhmoinen and Henrik in Pieksämäki.
Sources like this tax record is needed.
http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=12435503
Dominus Henricus Petri is mentioned, wife and maid are unnamed.
What I’ve understood is that Petrus Lyra was the first priest in Lyra family. I read an assay on Lyra family and Petrus Lyra and his work as a priest is actually mentioned (according to this essay) in a book from Matts Akiander. No name of his wife is mentioned.
You can find the information (including also some assumptions) in Finnish here http://www.saunalahti.fi/arnoldus/lyra.html
I’m not that good in this as I’ve done genealogy only so little. But I understand the need for some official documents though sometimes we need also some assumptions to get further.

Anja,
What this profile requires is some sources https://www.geni.com/projects/Working-with-sources/18201
From what I can understand your post https://www.geni.com/discussions/181685?msg=1219447 is a copy and paste from another website? Copying data from another website is not evidence of anything, especially if you are not going to tell us which website it is so that the rest of us can look at it for our selves.
