Hi. In around 1765 R Dovid Maggid Katz Ben R Meir became the ABD in Radomysl. He was close to the Chozeh who said he was a Kohen Meyuchas. He was also close to R Levi Yitzhok Mbardichev and the Noam Elimelech. His Father R Meir Was ABD in Lublin.
Does anyone have any information about this person and his lineage?

question - isn't the correct way to write the last name as - haKohen ???

The common spelling is indeed haKohen, also HaKohen is frequently used, especially in acronyms.
