I will try to find where it goes awry but I suspect our fine curators will find it before I can. :-)

I believe we fixed your path to Xerxes by fixing your path to King David. You’re no longer a good test case!
I have an indirect path
Xerxes I 'the Great', king of Persia is your 27th great uncle's 6th great aunt's partner's sister's husband's 11th great grandmother's husband's 12th great grandfather.

It’s going through Wales
Erica Howton Erica, if you want a new test case, Elen and Machsig show as 49ggf/ggm in my tree, but no blood connection to Xerxes.
Erica Howton was the Welsh connection going through Elen, or her husband? Ellen’s ancestral line at the moment cuts off at Bran the king of Siluria, which is correct—he’s been disentangled from Bran the Blessed, a mythological deity from the Mabinogion.
I have a connection going though supposed Romans in Gallia/Hispania https://www.geni.com/path/Isabella-Gurgel+is+related+to+Xerxes-I-th...
Isabella Gurgel, a partir de Teresa Gil de Valadares, 8ª Srª. da Casa de Tangil o nosso caminho é o mesmo confira:

There seem to be tons of new profiles made that are missing all sources, not even a hint where these names are from, around these profiles and around much more new profiles that go to middle ages are missing sources: https://www.geni.com/path/Rem%C3%ADgio-Of-Cant%C3%A1bria+is+related...

Profiles made by Private User can you tell us where these profiles are from? and start adding sources and also look for double profiles as Geni has well made medieval tree. Thank you :)

Sorry, but I am not the appropriate person to verify these lineages, as it is outside the scope of my research (colonial Brazil and São Paulo) and my knowledge.
But you're absolutely right, adding a huge list of profiles without any source goes against the principles of good genealogical research.
"Decorating" trees with coats of arms does not have the necessary seriousness.
Private User Yes I understand, Mike made this discussion to find places where to cut the line. I found the profiles that do not add up and as part of them were at the "line" that you shared as being your "ancestors 83th Grandfather" I figured if you could check some of those profies.
I also most of my time investigate sources for profiles from the other side of the world - do you know who could help with those trees? Some profiles seemed to also have gaps/missing generations.
Sharon Doubell do you know if there are curator that could help with those trees, some seem to be duplicates and hard to find any info from others, that is highly unusual as most of medieval noble trees from Europe have profiles already here.
Private User Your help is needed as you have made many medieval profiles without sources.
Kind regards to all and happy new year from Finland
Greetings to all Geni confreres, for their conduct in preserving Our Genealogical History. Some sources regarding the profiles I added were recently posted and other posts will be in progress soon. I want to sincerely thank the ladies, Saga Sanna, Ana Toledo and Sharon Doubell who respectively led me in this worthy debate, and wish them a great year 2024. Sincerely, Dr. Ciro da Silva Fontes.
