K. IRENE BRACKENBURYPeacefully surrounded by her loving family, and with her beloved and devoted soul mate of 33 years Bill VanDenEeckhout by her side, Irene Brackenbury passed away at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital in her 60th year on Monday, May 30, 2005. Born January 5, 1946 daughter of the late Edna Rock (1988) and Rhinehold Rock (1973). Predeceased by her husband Larry Brackenbury (1971) and infant daughter Debra Ann (1964), brothers Ross Scott (1988), Earl Scott (1992), sister Pauline McCloud (1967), brother-in-law Paul Brackenbury (2005), sisters-in-law Dorothy Wilson (2005), Fredia Scott (1998). Loving mother of Linda and Charles Buday of Brownsville; David Brackenbury and Angela of Dunnville; Cindy Brackenbury and J.J. of London. Cherished and much loved “Nana” to Charlie; Mike; Becky Buday; Larry; Blair; Nicolle and Bradley Brackenbury; Alicia Brackenbury and Christopher Erhardt. Also, survived by Aunt Ruby Brackenbury of Aylmer. Very Special to Adrienne, Bob, Robert, Doris and Nancy VanDenEeckhout and families. Also, survived by several relatives in Belgium. Dear sister and sister-in-law to John and Sandra Rock of Aylmer; Cliff and Marie Scott of London; June Scott of Aylmer; Betty Sherer of Tennessee; Diane Anderson and Bernie Holden of Vienna; Gloria and Paul Gibson of Hamilton; Barbara Clarke of Burlington; Lois and George Taylor of Ottawa; Mary and Keith Danbrook of Tillsonburg; Shirly Brackenbury of Aylmer, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received at OSTRANDER’S FUNERAL HOME, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (842-5221) on Thursday, June 2, 2005 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral services for Irene will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Robinson of Tillsonburg Alliance Church officiating. Interment Tillsonburg Cemetery. At the family’s request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society; Tillsonburg Hospital; or C.C.A.C. Oxford.
