I believe that he should be honored. Growing near Elizabethton, Tn. and hearing all of the mixed stories was hard for me because of my relationship to Chief Dragging Canoe. He was a very proud and highly intellectual chief.

Finally, our internet is fixed after being down for two weeks.

What a great article. There is no way anyone could have made up for all of the atrocities that occurred during his time. If we could only follow in his footsteps to make this world a better place.
