The Kovno area Leventhal's most famous family is that of Rabbi Bernard Louis Leventhal later Chief Rabbi of Philadelphia who was close with Bernard Revel and helped establish many Orthodox institutions in the US. I'd love to find a tree that supports the family claim that they descend from 12 generations of Rabbis.
