in my research I found John Ward's first wife was likely Mary Campbell, both of Donegal Ireland.
I see some reference to his daughter as Elizabeth Ward Delong who married George Delong
but believe she was daughter of his son John Ward born about 1727 in Ireland and died in
Amberson Valley, Franklin Co. PA
I believe the Mary McCormick mentioned by some researchers is the wife of his son John but
not validated. The Agnes mentioned as a wife of John 1704 is possible as a John and Agnes
is mentioned in Augusta VA land records after 1740's.
