There is some confusion as to the wife of Absolom Bobo. Let's get this straightened out and properly documented. Absolom did marry Ann Musgrove, daughter of Edward Musgrove and Sarah Adair. It is unlikely that he married Mary Bobo, daughter of Sampson Bobo. She was his first cousin. I have broken that relationship until it can be proven that Absolom married Mary.
Mary Bobo, daughter of Sampson Bobo, married William Blackstock, Jr. in Spartanburg, South Carolina about 1794. William died in about 1841. His records have been badly conflated with his father's, William Sr. I am working on their records this week.
Several webtrees shown through the MyHeritage Smart Match system call Absolom's wife Mary Musgrove, Polly Musgrove and Mary Ann Musgrove. We know that Polly was a common nickname in the 18th century. Mary Bobo was sometimes known as Polly. If Ann Musgrove's first name was truly Mary, she could also have been known as Polly. That would be part of the confusion.
Further confusing matters is that both Mary Bobo Blackstock and Ann Musgrove Bobo were born in 1773. Mary may have been born in Virginia, before her family migrated to South Carolina, or she may have been born in South Carolina. Ann was born in South Carolina.
Any help in documenting these people will be appreciated.

Mordecai Bobo married the grand daughter of Edward Musgrove.
Absalom Bobo married the daughter.
Absalom Bobo’s second wife was Mary (Polly) Bobo, his first cousin. She was the daughter of Sampson and Sarah
Simpson Bobo and was born May 25, 1773. They married circa 1808, and lived on Two Mile Creek near Woodruff, S. C.
That matches https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/27048556/mary-%22polly%22-bobo
But they are giving both wives the same birth date. Oooooh
https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000042843078838& will of Edward Musgrove, 1790, Laurens County, SC
Ann, wife, executrix, with Thomas Crosby (brother ?)
Children listed
Edward Beake Musgrove [the Tory]
Rebecca Cannon
Marrey Berry
Then "Ann and her seven children"
1) William, 2) Margrett, 3) Ann, 4) Hannah, 5) Leah, 6) Rachel, and 7) Liney
William may not be the oldest, but the girl order is probably chronological.
Therefore
- Ann Musgrove was unmarried at the time will written
- she has the same mother as the rest of the younger girls and William, who sounds a lot more like Nancy Crosby than Ann Adair
Opinions?
